1. Responsibilities
Lead technical pre-sales engagements with prospective customers, serving as the primary solution consultant and technical advisor.
Collaborate with business development, solution consulting, and product teams to design tailored solutions that align Medable’s capabilities with customer needs.
Demonstrate Medable’s platform through live demos, technical deep dives, and proof-of-concept engagements.
Assess customer requirements and architect integrations with eClinical technologies, AI-driven applications, and enterprise systems.
Serve as a subject matter expert in eClinical trial technologies, digital health, and emerging technologies in the life sciences industry.
Partner with product and engineering teams to provide feedback from the field, influencing product roadmap and go-to-market strategies.
Build trusted relationships with technical and executive stakeholders at customer organizations.
Contribute to RFP responses, solution designs, and technical proposals.

2. Experience
6+ years of experience in technical consulting, solution engineering, or forward deployed engineering roles within life sciences or health technology, or a combination of education and experience.
Hands-on experience with AI/ML implementations, integrations, and enterprise-scale deployments.
Experience implementing AI agents, workflow orchestrators, or LLM-driven automation in regulated environments.
Agentic-pattern grounding Experience designing or deploying autonomous workflow agents, reasoning loops, or multi-agent orchestration models.
Enterprise LLM systems Exposure to enterprise-grade LLM application stacks, including retrieval, tool-use, integration patterns, and guardrail frameworks.
Regulated-environment AI Ability to design AI-driven automation that aligns with governance, auditability, and compliance constraints.
Human-in-the-loop systems Experience implementing human-supervision loops or safety-gated AI workflows in production systems.
3. Skills
Deep knowledge of eClinical technologies, including EDC, eCOA, CTMS, RTSM/IWRS, and interoperability standards.
Strong technical skills with experience in APIs, cloud platforms, data integration, and modern software architectures.
Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value propositions.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrated success working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
4. Education, Certifications, Licenses
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
5. Travel Requirements
This is a customer-facing role with travel up to 75% as needed.
